Machine Characteristics

Small, compact injection molding machine: thanks to its 2-platen closing system and 2-cylinder injection assembly the design is smaller than on an in-line injection unit and the clamp unit can easily be adapted to meet mold opening stroke requirements.

The press is equipped with an integrated, modular system with variable-delivery pumps and an inverter with vector control on plasticizing screw rotation to provide optimal overlap performance on three essential movements (screw rotation, mold movements and ejection or core movements). Full movement performance is maintained even during overlapping (shorter cycle times, improved energy efficiency).

The automatic tie bar removal system is an option that provides much-needed flexibility where mold changes are carried out under difficult conditions, such as with a low ceilings, bulky molds, etc. (management).

High-rigidity platens and wide guides on the sides of the movable platen provide increased control of the parallelism between the movable and fixed platens, and consequently, the mold: the result is less wear on the molds and greater closing accuracy (reliability, precision).
